A professional relationship begins only when we and the client sign a written engagement agreement. That agreement, and the report we deliver under it, set out the scope, assumptions, standards, and terms that govern the work. Where anything on this website differs from a signed engagement agreement, the engagement agreement prevails.

03Our reports and deliverables

A Depreciation Report, Reserve Fund Study, Asset Management Plan, or other deliverable we prepare is made for a specific building, for a specific client, at a specific point in time, and on the assumptions stated within it. It is prepared in accordance with the applicable professional standards and legislation in effect at the time.

A report should be read in full and in context. It is not transferable to another building, and it should not be relied on by anyone other than the client it was prepared for without our written consent. Conditions change: a report reflects the information available and the condition of the building as at the date of the work, and should be updated on the cycle its governing legislation requires.

04Estimates and forward-looking statements

Reserve planning involves projecting the future condition, timing, and cost of building components over decades. Any figures, timelines, service lives, or funding projections, whether shown on this website or in a report, are estimates based on professional judgment and stated assumptions. They are not guarantees of future cost, condition, or outcome.

Any numbers shown anywhere on this website are illustrative examples only. They do not represent a quote, a price, or a projection for your building. The way to obtain figures relevant to your building is to request a proposal and engage us for the work.

05Accuracy and currency of content

We take care to keep this website accurate and current, but we make no representation or warranty, express or implied, that the content is complete, accurate, reliable, or up to date. Legislation, standards, and best practices evolve, and parts of the site may not reflect the most recent changes at the moment you read them.
