Service Areas

Where we plan ahead with you.

OurCastle prepares Depreciation Reports and Reserve Fund Studies for strata corporations and condominium associations across Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest. A defined region, served by a single Certified Reserve Planner, with the same standard of work wherever your building sits.

British Columbia · Alberta · Saskatchewan · Manitoba · Washington · Oregon · Minnesota · Remote-capable throughout.

Where We Work

Experts in the defined region.

Four provinces in Western Canada and three states in the Pacific Northwest and Upper Midwest, anchored in our home market of British Columbia.

We name the places we actually serve because reserve planning is jurisdiction-specific work. A Depreciation Report follows the Strata Property Act in British Columbia; a Reserve Fund Study follows the standards and statutes of its own region. Knowing the rules a building lives under is part of the job.

Much of an engagement runs remotely, by design. Records, drafts, and review meetings are handled in a shared workspace, and site work is scheduled around it. That keeps timelines tight for communities anywhere in the region, including buildings well outside the major centres.

Each region page covers the terminology, statute, and reserve-planning expectations that apply where you are, and routes you to the right engagement.

United States

Pacific Northwest & Upper Midwest

For condominium and homeowner associations in the United States, we prepare the Reserve Fund Study to recognized standards, built so any Board can understand its reserve position and the funding decisions ahead. Minnesota is served through the United States overview.

One Standard

The same work, wherever you are.

A building in Prince George receives the same high service standard a building in Portland does: a full component inventory, a condition inspection, and a long-range funding forecast a Council or Board can act on.

  • One analyst, start to finish. The Certified Reserve Planner who scopes your engagement is the one who signs the report.
  • Local rules applied correctly. The terminology and statute follow your jurisdiction, not a generic template.
  • Independent throughout. We are not tied to any contractor or vendor, so the findings serve the Owners and no one else.

Distance Is Not a Barrier

How a remote engagement runs.

Whether your building is downtown or three hours from the nearest city, the engagement follows the same clear path.

01

Intake online

A short intake and a shared workspace gather your documents and building details. Nothing requires a visit to get started.

02

Site inspection

The on-site condition inspection is scheduled and carried out by the analyst writing the report in your region, then folded straight into the analysis.

03

Report & review

A plain-language report and a video review walk your Council or Board through the findings, wherever everyone happens to be.
